Father John "Hau'oli" Tomoso has re-joined our board. He is the new priest associate at Good Shepherd Church in Wailuku and the executive director of Tri-isle Resource Conservation and Development Council, Inc. Born and raised on Maui, Hau’oli earned a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1975. He earned his M.S.W. from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 1977. Awarded a Teaching and Research fellowship in Public Administration at the University of Wyoming at Laramie; Hau’oli won the John P. Ellbogen Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award for 1983. Since 1976, he has practiced as a Social Worker in various public, private and non-profit sector settings and methods. He was ordained to the Priesthood on July 31, 2016. He has been married to Susan D. Tomoso (nee Brabeck) since July 9, 1977, they are parents of two and grandparents to three.
