A Maui native, Teri is a seasoned communications and community engagement professional with more than two decades of executive level experience in Hawai‘i and overseas. She was recently named Director of Community & Patient Relations for Maui Grown Therapies, a physician-led medical cannabis provider. She also teaches communication skills for the First Nations Futures Fellowship Program at Stanford University and is a regular guest lecturer for the Janklow Arts Leadership Graduate Program at Syracuse University. A graduate of UCLA, she served as Maui’s commissioner to the Hawai‛i State Foundation on Culture & the Arts from 2007 to 2012. The Ōmaʻopio resident is a partner in E Ola Pono, LLC and an active member of WINTA-World Indigenous Tourism Alliance.
