With Saimin Bar, Open Mic & Talk Story
January 10th Networker at Maui Tropical Plantation
KAHULUI, HI – Chilly January nights call for bowls of hot saimin. The Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce will host its January Business Talk Story at 5:30 PM, Tuesday, January 10 at Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapu. Catered by Hoaplili Ane, the networker will offer up a steaming hot Saimin Bar with favorite island toppings to ring in a New Year of Prosperity for Maui businesses.
“Many of us happy to say aloha oē to a very 2016. While the holiday season can be a lot of fun, it can also be hectic. There is no better way to wind down and warm up than with a bowl of Hawaiʻi’s favorite comfort food, saimin,” said MNHCoC President Teri Freitas Gorman. “Less stress and more fun should be at the top of everyone’s New Year resolutions.”
Guests will choose from numerous saimin toppings including char siu, wonton, roast pork, shrimp, fish cake and an array of fresh Maui-grown vegetables. The January networker will feature an Open Mic for MNHCoC members to promote their businesses or urge support for local nonprofit causes and events.
Prepaid admission is $20 for members or $25 for non-members who pay online in advance. Advance payment may be made through PayPal on www.mnhcoc.org.
